As a teenager I hitchhiked out west and saw for my first time the vast beauty of this land. Later, a collegiate tour of Europe exposed me to the ruinous grandeur of ancient temples and monuments. These events opened my eyes to the power of nature, the richness of the world, and an appreciation and love for architecture.

While travel has affected me I believe that one need not leave home for inspiration: if one sticks to an impelling concept and runs with it, a blueprint for a strong design will certainly emerge. Using ideas as my maps, I strive to create works of lasting value on projects of any size.
